Before

  • Book your free estimate

Every project has to start somewhere, and at Moreno & Moreno, that’s with a free estimate! Just give us a call or fill in the information required here, and we’ll contact you to set up a time to get the screen installation process started.

  • Review your options

During the in-person visit, you and one of our team members will need to discuss what you’re looking for from your new screened lanai or screen enclosure. We can make suggestions and recommendations based on our expertise, but it’s important for you to have a general idea of what you’re looking for.

Be prepared to discuss these questions:

  • What design, type, and style of screen enclosure are you interested in?
  • What kind of style and color will work best on your home?
  • Would you like a standalone pool enclosure or one that extends from your house?
  • Are there any trees or other obstacles that will need to be removed before the installation?
  • Is there a need for a footer or pavers?
  • Does your HomeOwners Associations (HOA) require an approval? Most HOAs today do require that you submit your plans for approval and this can be the most time consuming part of the process as they usually meet every two weeks or monthly to review requests from homeowners.

  • Schedule your installation

Once the in-person visit has been conducted, and measurements have been taken, you’ll receive your free quote.

After you sign the quote, we’ll start working on the required permits that may be necessary in your county or subdivision. For example:

  • Do you already have your HOA approval?
    • If the answer is NO, then our team will help you fulfill any requirements the HOA has given to you before scheduling your installation.
    • If the answer is YES and no additional permits are required, our team will schedule your installation project then contact you with a date.

Bonus tip: The length of the screen installation process is influenced by many different factors including the type of finish you select, the speed of your local building department, HOA approval and how high the current demand for enclosures is. Generally, you can expect a screen enclosure project with permits and HOA approval to be completed within 15 days from the date of signed contract.

During

  • Prepare for installation day

It’s important for you to prepare your home for your screen installation before the installation date.

Make sure that you:

  • Ensure your driveway is left open during the installation time frame—the team will need space to carry materials on your property.
  • Do not pay the installer on the day of installation. We will discuss the payment process as you continue reading.

  • Relax as our team installs the screen

The Moreno & Moreno team will show up with the equipment and materials they need to complete their job on the installation date, and it’ll be done before you know it! Our team will also remove any trash and left over construction materials once the screen installation is completed.

The actual screen installation usually only takes our team members about a day for lanai enclosures and 2 to 3 days for cage screened enclosures, so you can expect us to be at your home on the scheduled installation dates and no longer. Remember that additional days may be needed if we also need to build a footer and add pavers as part of the project.

We take payments by check or card, whichever you prefer.

If you want to pay with a check, please send it to the address on your invoice. If you want to pay with a card, you can make your payment over the phone. However, there is an additional 3% fee for processing any card payment. This additional 3% fee will be applied to the total of your invoice.
