What to expect before, during, and after your seamless gutter installation
Home repair projects can be very stressful and leave the homeowner feeling uncertain and confused about the whole process. When choosing a vendor for your seamless gutter installation, it’s important to hire a company that you can trust and that has a laid out process to guide you and the construction crew during the installation.
At Moreno & Moreno, we’re committed to high-quality home improvement services. We created this guide to help you understand what to expect with our gutter installation process. Continue reading to learn everything you’ll need to know.
Before
- Book your free estimate
At Moreno & Moreno, all of our projects begin with a free estimate! Call us or fill out this contact form and we’ll set up a time to get started on the seamless gutter installation process.
- Review your options
During the estimate, our team will discuss with you different options for your new seamless gutters.
Be prepared to discuss these questions:
- What color gutters are you looking for? We bring color samples to your house, we offer gutters in white, musket brown, and ivory, with the option to custom order many other colors. However, we usually recommend that the gutter color matches the color of the soffits to create a clean and cohesive look.
- Are there any trees or other obstacles that need to be removed before the installation
- Does your HomeOwners Association (HOA) require approval? Most HOAs do require that you submit your plans for approval. This can be the most time consuming part of the process as most HOAs meet every two weeks or monthly to review homeowners’ requests.
- Schedule your installation
Once the in-person visit is complete, and measurements have been taken, you’ll receive your free quote.
After you sign the quote, we’ll start working on any required permits that may be necessary in your county or subdivision. One of the most important questions is whether or not you have your HOA’s approval.
- If the answer is NO, then our team will help you fulfill any requirements the HOA has given to you before scheduling your installation.
- If the answer is YES, our team will schedule your installation project then contact you with a date.
During
- Prepare for installation day
It’s crucial that you prepare your home for your gutter installation before the installation date.
Remember:
- It’s best if your driveway is left open during the installation. The team needs space to carry materials on your property.
- Do not pay the installer on the day of installation. We will discuss the payment process later on.
- Our team installs your seamless gutters
The Moreno & Moreno team shows up on installation day with all the required materials to build and install your custom seamless gutters. Our seamless gutters are made on location to match the exact house measurements.
The installation process is done in one day for single family homes and varies for townhouses, depending on how many units there are. Once the job is complete, our team removes any trash and left over materials.
After
- Receive your invoice
Our team inspects the completed gutters, and once it’s approved we send you an invoice.
Your invoice can be used as your final receipt, and it also serves as proof of warranty for future use.
- Make your payment
We take payments by check or card, whichever you prefer.
If you want to pay with a check, please send it to the address on your invoice. If you want to pay with a card, you can do so over the phone, but there is an additional 3% fee for processing any card payment. This additional 3% fee is applied to the total of your invoice.
You can always refer back to this guide as needed throughout the seamless gutter installation process—we hope it helps answer your questions and reduce any possible confusion.
